Children don’t come with instructions.
But their behaviour isn’t random.
Sleep. Boundaries. Behaviour. Behind the things parents struggle with most, there is usually something to understand before there is something to change.

We teach you how to see it.
Evidence-informed education for parents.
Trusted by 14,500+ families across Europe and Dubai.
The problem isn’t always where you see it
A child who won’t sleep may not have a sleep problem.
A child who fights bedtime.
A toddler who wakes throughout the night.
A four-year-old who negotiates every boundary.
A child who falls apart every time they hear “no”.

These can look like completely different problems.
Very often, they are not.
Sleep is influenced by biology and development. But as children grow, it is also influenced by emotional regulation, predictability, boundaries and the relationship between the child and the adult leading them.
That is why we don’t teach parents how to simply stop a behaviour. We teach them how to understand what is driving it.
Because when you understand the reason, you can finally choose the right response.

Our approach
Understand first. Then act.
Modern parenting has become very good at giving parents instructions.
Do this when your child wakes.
Say this during a tantrum.
Try this routine.
Avoid this word.
Use this consequence.
The result?
Parents know hundreds of techniques — and still don’t know what to do when their own child is standing in front of them. We believe parents need something more useful than another script. They need to understand sleep, development, behaviour, boundaries and their own role within all of it. Because confident parenting does not come from memorising the right sentence. It comes from understanding why you are saying it. Understand first. Then act.
TWO SYSTEMS. ONE PHILOSOPHY.
Healthy sleep needs more than sleep.

The Philip Method™
Achildshouldneverhavetobetrainedtosleep.
Sleep is biology.
Sleep is development.
And sleep can be understood.
The Philip Method™ is an evidence-informed educational system that teaches parents how to understand their child’s sleep, recognise what may be disrupting it and build the conditions for healthy sleep — without conventional sleep training.
Choose the Right Consequence
Aboundarywithoutleadershipisjustasentenceachildlearnstonegotiate.
Children need warmth.
Love.
Understanding.
They also need to know who is leading.
Choose the Right Consequence teaches parents how to distinguish a boundary from a threat, a consequence from a punishment, and authority from control.
Because the goal is not to make a child obedient.
The goal is to become the kind of parent a child can feel is present.

01/02
WHAT DO SLEEP AND BOUNDARIES HAVE TO DO WITH EACH OTHER?
More than most parents realise.
You can create the perfect bedtime routine.
You can dim the lights.
Swaddle, rock and use white noise.
Watch the wake windows.
Read the books.
Control the temperature.
Remove every screen.
But if bedtime becomes a negotiation every night,
the problem is no longer only the bedtime routine.
As children develop, they continuously ask one fundamental question through their behaviour:
Who is holding the boundary here?
Not because they need a stricter parent.
Because predictability creates safety.
A parent can be deeply connected, responsive and emotionally available — and still lead.
In fact, children need both.
Connection without leadership creates uncertainty.
Leadership without connection creates distance.
We teach parents how to build both.
We are not raising children who never wake, never cry and never say no.
That child does not exist.
And we wouldn’t want them to.
We want children who can develop, explore, protest, feel deeply and gradually learn to regulate themselves.
And we want parents who understand what they are seeing. Parents who don’t panic at every difficult phase.
Parents who don’t need Instagram to tell them what to do every time something changes. Parents who can look at their child and think:
I understand what is happening.
I know what my role is.
I know what to do next.
That is what we teach.

The Founder
Built from practice. Developed through education.
Tatjana Javorina is the founder of Inspired by Children Academy and creator of The Philip Method™.
Her work brings together education in child development, physiology, psychology, sleep and parenting with years of direct work with families.
What began with one question — why do some children struggle so profoundly with sleep? — developed into a wider educational approach to understanding children, their behaviour and the adults responsible for leading them.
Today, her work has reached more than 14,500 families across Europe and Dubai.
But numbers were never the purpose.
The purpose was to give parents something far more valuable than another piece of advice:
understanding.
Meet TatjanaYou shouldn’t need a new expert every time your child enters a new phase.
The real purpose of education is independence.
Inspired by Children Academy exists to give parents knowledge they can continue using long after they finish one of our programmes.
Not another parenting hack.
Not another perfect routine.
Not another list of sentences to memorise.
Knowledge that changes the way you understand your child.
Explore our programmes, educational resources and professional training.
Explore the AcademyYour child will keep changing.
Your understanding can grow with them.
Sleep changes.
Behaviour changes.
Development changes.
The questions will change too.
But when you understand what lies beneath them, you stop parenting from fear, confusion and somebody else’s instructions.
You start leading with knowledge.
Understand the child. Know your role.
